The Merchants and Drovers Tavern is a tavern museum interpreting tavern life in the early 19th century. This attraction includes a major permanent exhibit installation, For the Entertainment of Strangers, which provides a comprehensive look at tavern life and stagecoach transportation in early New Jersey. The museum is open to the public Tuesday by appointment, Thursday & Friday 10a.m.-4p.m., the 1st & 3rd Saturdays 10a.m.-4p.m., and the 2nd & 4th Sundays 1p.m.-4p.m.
